Holiday Lighting Winners

Indian Springs Village Association 2018 Holiday Lighting Winners

This year’s judges focused on homes and areas that have not had the opportunity to win in prior years and had displayed a significant amount of effort and commitment that was involved in this year’s displays.

This year’s Best House is 14 Golden Place, in Idlewood.  This home which is owned and decorated by Dan and Lori Parr, has over 60 separate Christmas trees on display in what Dan described as “Santa’s Christmas tree forest”. Dan and Lori said their display required over 50 hours to assemble and several storage units.

This year’s Best Neighborhood was given to the cul-de-sac on Lansend.  This was a new display which involved choregraphing the lights at three houses and the cul-de-sac.  Joe & Kimberly White, who live at 34 Lansend, started developing the lighting plans in August, with his neighbors Brian Ivey and Rob Haberkamp.
