Astros-Cubs Game on September 13
Tickets for the Woodlands day at the Astros game are available now.
Join your neighbors at the September 13 (Saturday) baseball game
between the Astros and the
Chicago Cubs. Tickets are $13 each, covering both the
admission and a round-trip chartered bus ride to the game. In
addition, you’ll have a chance to win free tickets to the September
27 Astros-Braves game.

THE WOODLANDS FLEA MARKET - OCTOBER 11 - VENDOR
TICKETS ON SALE SEPTEMBER 20
The Woodlands Spring Flea Market will be held Saturday, October
11, 7:00-10:00 a.m., at the Town Center Parking Garage. The garage
is located at the southwest corner of Six Pines Drive and Lake
Robbins Drive adjacent to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. The
Flea Market is open free to the buying public.
Tickets for booth spaces will go on sale Saturday, September 20,
8:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m., near Randall's Supermarket in the Panther
Creek Village Center. Any booth tickets remaining after that date
will be available at the Community Associations Building, 2201 Lake
Woodlands Drive, directly across the street from The Woodlands
United Methodist Church.
Booth prices are $50 for residents, $75 for non-residents and
$100 for Commercial sellers. Samples, craft items and new
merchandise are considered commercial. Each booth space consists of
two parking spaces and allows entry for two vehicles.
A vehicle and trailer requires the purchase of two booth spaces.
The purchase also allows entry of one additional vehicle. Trailers
are limited to a maximum bed length of 12 feet.
The maximum height limit for vehicles, trailers and loads is 7
feet. There will be no space for vehicles exceeding this height
limit. There will be a charity truck and dumpsters to collect
unsold merchandise after the flea market.
Taste of the Village on October 18th, 2008

The Indian Springs Village Association (ISVA) invites everyone to
be our guests on Saturday, October 18, 2008. We will celebrate the
4th annual TASTE OF THE VILLAGE event from Noon
until 4:00 PM at the Indian Springs Village Shopping Center located
at the intersection of Kuykendahl and The Woodlands Parkway.
Last year over 5,000 visitors from throughout The Woodlands
attended the event. This year we will feature delicious free
samples from about a dozen food vendors, entertainers, music, raffle
prizes, public safety/community services representatives and lots of
fun & free hotdogs for the kids.
Entertainment includes BOB FM, live music, HE Buddy, a remote
control vehicle, Puffy Pine Cone, Michael Crayton of Magical
Balloons, face painting by Campus Watch & ISVA. Spiderman, Dora the
Explorer and other walking entertainers. Public education for all
ages will also be available through exploring a fire truck, an
ambulance, a sheriff’s vehicle and a smoke house from The Woodlands
Fire Department.
The
TASTE OF THE VILAGE is co-sponsored by the Indian Springs Village
Association, HEB, and Regency Development in cooperation with
business establishments located in the Indian Springs Village
Shopping Center. The event showcases merchandise and services for
the businesses that are participating. Additionally, Car Wash Time
will offer free car washes during the event. The entrance for a car
wash is from Woodlands Parkway. All proceeds from the event help to
support the ISVA College Scholarship Fund for Indian Spring’s
residents.
Mark the date on your calendars and plan to join your neighbors
from throughout The Woodlands for an afternoon of food, fun, and
entertainment for the whole family. ADMISSION IS FREE.
Community Meeting Notice
The Indian Springs Village Association holds its monthly
meetings at The Community Associations of The Woodlands building at
2201 Lake Woodlands Drive on the second Tuesday of each month,
except July. All
residents of Indian Springs are invited to attend.
